Yes watched it last night. Very good programme as it brings back the entire brinkmanship of the Cold War at its height. Ronald Reagans speech about the 'evil empire' sets the tone. Some good music as well - I forgot about Peter Schilling's 'Major Tom (Coming Home)' which is the main title music. Quality.

wasnt it all subtitled Schoffie? even the Yank general spoke in German...i dont recall any english in it unless i am high on the meds?

Only the scenes in East germany (subtitled), west in English.. Bit strange, guessing it's to define who is who for those that weren't around in that era?
